Jimmy Ssegujja is a dynamic and accomplished software engineer, innovator, and ICT consultant based in Uganda. As the Chief Technical Officer at Groxel Services and Solutions Ltd, he leads the design and deployment of advanced software systems ranging from mobile applications, web platforms, APIs, and databases to business automation tools. He also contributes as a Senior Software Engineer at Chamber Group of Companies and E-Wall Technologies Uganda, where he applies his expertise in full-stack development, software testing, and server administration to deliver scalable and efficient technology solutions.

With both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Jimmy specializes in health informatics, artificial intelligence, and data-driven innovations. His research explores the use of AI and data science for disease detection, clinical decision support, and remote patient monitoring in low-resource settings, bridging the gap between technology and healthcare. Beyond health tech, he actively engages in software development for education and enterprise systems, ensuring that ICT continues to drive efficiency and accessibility across multiple sectors.
