I am a self-motivated, team player, confident, reliable, vibrant, and technically proficient in ICT/ telecommunication sector specializing in fiber optics installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Comfortable with multitasking and receptive to changing work priorities, following instructions, and working collaboratively and effectively in different situations while maintaining a positive attitude under stressful conditions with the aim of achieving set targets.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology From MUST, DCS, Cisco certified Associate (CCNA), and CCS from Kyambogo University.
Has vast experience in long-haul fiber installations, maintenance, and management. LAN networking, cabling and cable management, and systems installations and maintenance. Beyond is the managerial and supervision expert in all networking-related projects including architects, design, documentation, and development. Customer certification is centered while we execute our projects so trust us at Groxel Uganda limited.

I gained Capabilities at Management and Supervisory levels during my education and execution of fiber technology-related duties including the following; \
Managing and coordinating the equipment providers (FO), subcontractors, technical teams, and the customer, Performing high-level technical support functions on all Fiber transmission media at the Switch and Transmission sites, Initiating and supervising preventive maintenance on the optical fiber infrastructure network and carrying out planned works on the fiber infrastructure for network optimization and improvement,
Conduct quarterly vendor/contractor performance assessments/audits in order to identify issues and improve performance, especially during a project, Provide high-level support on optical problems fiber-related to internal customers in line with set quality standards., Coaching and training staff in fiber optics-related issues, troubleshooting and solving fiber cable OSP issues, and making recommendations to maintain the project and budget., Ensuring that the fiber optic database is current and accurate by inputting data of physical fiber assets and fiber enclosures into the data management system.

My experiences have grown and appreciated at various companies such as ZTE UGANDA LTD ( Supporting the client’s engineering (MTN & INFOCOM/liquid Telecom) team and working with Fiber Optic, Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineers in completing their tasks ), PLESSEY (UG) LIMITED.

Additional special skills include System administration skills (Unix/Linux/Ubuntu and windows 2000 profession/windows 2003 server operating system), Mobile application programming (Android studio)., Web development skills (sublime Networking skills- TCP/IP, IMAP, POP, Active Directory Services: DNS, DHCP, WINS, Samba, Apache, Ethernet, LAN/WAN, Static/Dynamic Routed Cisco 2600 Series Routers, Routing Protocols: RIP/RIPv2, IGRP/EIGRP, CDP, All Network Cables terminations
